About Chef

I am a traveling Chef instructor with over 30 years experience in many areas of the professional food service industry. I am a third generation woman professional chef in my family as well as a certified teacher who was the lead culinary teacher in a HS culinary program. Not only do I offer one on one classes but also create cooking class parties in my clients homes. Currently I am conducting all of my business virtually through zoom. This has been a wonderful way to allow my students to cook alongside me virtually as we cook together in our own seperate kitchens.

After many years in the food service industry I became a certified teacher. I obtained my Ma Ed at the University of Mary Washington in VA. I am very comfortable working with adolescents and teens as I am also a high school teacher. I teach a wide spectrum within the culinary genre from introductory cooking and baking to advanced and specialize in multi cultural areas of cooking.

I have two passions, cooking and teaching. This allows me to express both of those passions. I have never had a complaint from any of my clients. They all leave the experience of a cooking class with me very gratified And more confidence that they can create wonderful dishes in the kitchen. To have a one on one cooking class with you made my bucket list. Next bucket list is an autograph picture of us cooking! I know that will wait for awhile. It was so informative and I felt at ease cooking with you. It was a fun time! My husband could not stopping talking about how delicious every dish was. A true success for me because of you. So I’m Truely grateful.

About the lesson
