About Robert
I was largely self-taught for the majority of my first years on electric guitar starting at 16 years old. I am 28 years old now and I picked up the classical guitar around the age of 24-25. I taught myself to read music for my first two years and realized if I really want to make music my life and survive off it then I need to go to school. I was gifted with an amazing guitar teacher from the school and became obsessed with learning pieces and making music. I would make a great teacher for you because I have made every mistake you can possibly make from being self taught, and I can guide you on exactly how to have good work flow so you are learning in the most direct possible manner. I feel like there are things that are left unsaid or connections not made sometimes that halt progress from some teachers who were born into playing music. I will make sure you never feel like you are bashing your head against the wall to get to where you need to be. I will also show you how to make music and improvise through the highest and most expressive form of playing which is classical music.

I would give them a music piece and a chunk of theory to work on everyday for a week or two. I will show them how to work through the piece slowly and identify the chords and theory.
