About Jackie

Hi there! My name is Jackie. I am a professional Dance Teacher and Content Creator.

I have over 15 years of formal dance training experience in ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, contemporary and Lyrical. I also have 10 years of teaching experience from various studios and schools in the Palm Beach and Broward County areas. In addition to my formal education and teaching experience, I have also had the pleasure of directing, choreographing and administratively managing a successful competitive dance team comprised of students between the ages of 6 through 18. I am kind, patient, detail-oriented, hardworking and a passionate Dance Teacher seeking an opportunity to motivate and inspire students. I welcome the opportunity to further discuss how I can help you grow and progress on your dance journey.

What I enjoy most about my work is having the ability to help my students reach both their short term and long term goals. I love to inspire my dancers and help develop them into strong, intelligent, passionate dancers. The sky is the limit!

I started as a teacher's assistant from age 15 to 17 at the dance studio I grew up attending. At age 18, I became a member of the faculty and officially began my teaching journey. I have been working in the field ever since.

-15 years of training in the following dance genres-- ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, contemporary, lyrical.

-10 years of professional teaching experience-- 4 years at various studios and 6 in the private preperatory school setting.

-Competition Team Director & Choreographer for grades 4 through 12.

-Experience teaching dancers in grades Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12.

About the lesson

I usually ask to have a one-on-one 15min consultation with prospective customers in order to get a feel of a dancers' experience level and to get a better understanding of his or her desired needs.

I have worked with students of varying levels and dance experiences. I am comfortable going back to the basics for beginner dancers as well as providing more intensive training for more advanced dancers who need it.

Make sure you look for someone knowledgeable, passionate, kind, and who will pour their all into your dancer. Good training is very important but dancers need someone who will also inspire and motivate them to be all they can be. Experience + heart is the goal.

We just had our end-of-year dance production of Aladdin and it was such a joy to see my students perform their hearts out. They have trained so hard and have grown so much over the year, and it brings me much fulfillment to watch them leave it all on the stage and soak up the moment.
