About David

I am a professional. I have trained students at every age and level. I have trained students in the Army, in the public school system, and in a volunteer setting. I have a masters degree in education and I am a former Army Green Beret and Drill Sergeant. I have competed at the NCAA Division 1 wrestling tournament as well as in Army post wrestling tournaments and All-Army Combatives competitions.

I enjoy training soldiers and other students to elevate their mental and physical focus, and to make progress toward their unique goals and abilities.

I started teaching wrestling in 1997 while in college.

During my time in the Army I instructed soldiers in combatives and infantry tactics, techniques, and procedures.

I became a public school teacher and coach in 2010 and I have several years coaching and teaching in public school systems.

I have been a volunteer coach in youth sports.

About the lesson

Students will need to have access to Fort Stewart. Lessons will be arranged based on time availability for student and instructor. Lessons will be 1 hour in length, and will be adjusted based on the needs of the student. Type of training is dependent on the needs of the student.

I have worked with youth, middle school, high school, and adult students.
