About Savannah
I focus not just on helping students memorize the information so they can complete assignments but to truly understand it and be able to apply it in various ways. I aim to find a method of teachinga nd conveying information that best suits each student that I work with so that they gain the most of their experience. I also strive to help students develop their learning, studying, and notetaking styles so to better improve thier education outside of my tutoring.
I know from my own college experience how disheartening it can be when you struggle with the material you're trying to learn. Thus, I find great joy in helping students avoid or lessen that experience so they can see how truly smart they are!
I have a bachelors degree in molecular biology and am currently doing research at the NIH in cancer immunotherapy.

First I start with asking them what subjects they enjoy and which ones they dont prefer and why. Then I move on to discuss current methods of notetaking and studying as well as how their teachers are currently presenting them with information. This information allows me to better create a learning environment that suits the student and their needs so that they can gain the most from their tutoring.
