About Gerald
Currently I am a Ph.D. student studying Neuroscience. My dissertation project focuses on devolving the mechanisms associated with a Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome disease phenotype and a rescue approach. I have been in the field for going on 8 years and am very passionate about biomedical research.
I began as a TA for one of my professors in Undergraduate. From there I have honed my skills in grad school.
I have a Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and minors in Paychology and Chemistry. I am currently a Doctoral student studying Neuroscience.

I would begin by defining the students learning style. This will give a proper gauge on what techniques work best for the student. Next would be introducing students to memorization and learning techniques such as mnemonics, memory palace, chunking, and active recall. From there we will begin absorbing the information the student is seeking help with.
