About Mike
I've never specifically tutored, however I bring 20+ years of general business experience as well as 20+ years of being a parent. I love helping others....I get incredible enjoyment of seeing those "a-ha" moments with kids! The moment they "get it"! Personally, there's no better fulfillment than teaching another person something they will use the rest of their lives.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Truman State University. I also am a former CPA who practiced Accounting for nearly 7 years. I have recruited in the Accounting & Finance space for the past 20 years.

As I haven't served in an "official" tutoring capacity in the past I can't say I have a typical process. Everyone is unique and therefore I feel it important to understand first what the mentee's needs are and how they like to learn. Then determine the best plan for that individual.
