About Jordan

I have been acting for over 20 years now and I have performed in 100+ projects during the past 12 years since being in Los Angeles. I teach acting to those who desire to become successful in their craft. Beginners preferably, however I am open to teaching those who are experienced as well. Some of my areas of expertise are Audition Technique (Helping with sides and the actor do well at his/her audition), Self Tapes (Those being sent via email/online to Casting Directors), Upcoming films/TV/Theatre gigs (Helping the actor prepare for an upcoming project he/she has already booked), beginners classes for those who desire to learn the art of the performing arts. I think the best teacher to an actor is an actor themselves.

I love working with new people and those who enjoy the performing arts. Whether you are a beginner, or you simply require a reader to help with an upcoming project, I am here to help you get the job that you deserve. Your success is my success.

I first started teaching in Los Angeles in 2006. I have helped many actors with character development, script breakdown, on-camera auditions and learning the art of performing in front of an audience.

I spent my first few years doing off-broadway in New York City. I performed in over 30 plays while living in the city and in 2006, I moved to Los Angeles to get more into film and television. I have over 100+ projects to my credit and love helping others achieve their own personal success in the entertainment industry.

About the lesson

I like to get to know the student and exactly where he/she would like to go with their venture. Not everyone can be a good actor. I truly believe that the greatest teacher is the one inside of you. Only you can bring yourself to where you always dreamed of. It is my job to help the student find what he/she wants in a career, the development of a character and the ability to walk into a Casting Director’s office and get the part.

Most of the students that I teach are beginners. All age ranges and all over the Los Angeles, CA area. I also help actors with their upcoming projects and making the right choices in their performances.

Make sure you get to know your teacher!!! I can’t stress that enough. Success in learning to act is dependent on knowing your teacher and enjoying the process.

I recently went to the 2018 Oscars and was surrounded by all those who I look up to in the entertainment industry. It was an amazing experience and I was able to make friends with those I have always wanted to work with.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The student should ask themselves:

1) What is my brand?

2) How do I prepare for this project/audition?

3) How far am I willing to dive into the script and how much investment/time is required?

4) Have I made the necessary choices when it comes to my character and how do I implement them in my performance?

5) Have I found the right instructor for me?
