When I was first looking for an ACT tutor I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was lucky enough to find out about Jabez through friends and I’m lucky I did. His methods and his personality combine for an experience you won’t find anywhere else. With Jabez as a tutor, you’re able to see someone who’s passionate about making sure you crush the ACT.

Starting my journey of the ACT, I was doubtful. The first time I took the ACT, I achieved a score of a 27 with no prior studying or tutoring. The second time I took it (2 months later), I tried to study and prepare on my own and still achieved a 27. At that point, I knew that I needed to reach out to someone for help, knowledge, and materials that I could not obtain on my own. Through recommendations from peers and classmates, I found my way to Jabez Park. While getting to know Jabez and becoming more familiar with the ACT, I began to prosper not only in the ACT itself but in my self-drive and motivation. Jabez helped open my eyes to goals and dreams that I didn't even know were a reality. After studying and learning under Jabez, I recently reached an ACT composite of a 33 and still hope to score higher on my next attempt with continued help from Jabez. Going into my senior year, I now have a broader variety of schools to realistically choose from, as well as a sense of accomplishment and pride in my abilities. Jabez has evolved into a long-term mentor as well as someone that I know I can always count on.

When I first took the ACT, I received a 24, which was nowhere near what I needed to go to my dream school. I was immediately panicked as my GPA and class rigor met the requirements, but my ACT score was lacking. Through some friends, I heard about Jabez. I expected to be tutored as you are in regular schooling, but Jabez’s approach to the ACT was mind changing. to get a baseline score. After he scored a 24, I knew it was time to call Jabez. My son plays varsity lacrosse, which made the tutoring
sessions and the time allocated to the ACT prep homework a real challenge. Jabez was flexible in meeting with my son later at night,
after practice, and held him accountable to keep the ACT a top priority. Jabez is an extraordinary teacher and motivator. He explained
things in a way that was easy for my son to understand and retain. Jabez challenged my son to push him in many areas, and the hard
work paid off. We were told that the biggest jump in scores would come on the second test after the tutoring sessions. My son scored
a 30 on his first attempt after the sessions, and on the second attempt, he scored a 33. We were excited but not surprised. My son felt
so much more confident after working with Jabez, and during the exam, he was intentional in using the principles Jabez taught him.
My son enjoyed the tutoring sessions with Jabez and ended up gaining a friend through the process. I would highly recommend Jabez
to anyone looking to improve their ACT scores. Jabez helps the students with the ACT exam but also shares some great insight into
the college acceptance process, which was very beneficial for us, as parents.

I recommend Jabez to every person I know who is looking for an ACT tutor. He is really good at motivating his students to overcome
any and all obstacles that come his way. His services can be a little pricey, but I have wasted thousands of dollars on ACT programs
that don’t work and honestly don’t care about the success of my son. My son was offered a baseball scholarship to one of the top DI baseball programs in the nation. Contingent on his ACT score, the program was offering different amounts. With a 26 on the ACT,
the scholarship would have covered half of his yearly tuition. With a 30, the scholarship would have covered his entire yearly tuition.
