About Abigail
I love to teach from a perspective of the student's interests, whether that be transcribing songs they like, learning picking patterns, power chords, chord structures, tablature, or notated music. We will learn a mix of songs that I believe will improve your guitar playing, as well as songs you want to learn!
I was in college and wanted to earn some income. I quickly fell in love with teaching people the language of music!
I was involved in many music groups in high school (choir, orchestra, etc.), I began songwriting at the age of 10, I received an undergraduate degree in music therapy, and am currently working on my music therapy masters degree. Before becoming a full-time music therapist, I gained 4 years of experience teaching guitar, voice, piano, and ukulele.
