About Britney
I never knew I'd have a passion for accounting but the complexity and the challenge it brings invigorates me! I started working in an accounting firm as the assistant to the owner, I was a Microsoft Office Specialist in Microsoft Excel & Word but I had no experience in accounting. I started to learn little by little, teaching myself the "old school" way. Building T-Accounts, listing debits and credits etc. I worked for the accounting firm for 6 years and by the time I left I was the Director of Accounting Services! I oversaw 8-12 people at all times and trained most of them. I since have moved onto a smaller firm to slow down a little but I still have the passion to teach, which I cannot do there.
I am a Microsoft Office Specialist in Microsoft Word and Excel. I have a certificate for Accounting 101 and 7 years expierence in the accounting field. I have worked with large oil field companies, small delivery companies, and everything in between.

First I want to know what questions they have. Knowing what their questions are at the beginning helps to make sure you maintain focus on their core issues! Then, I will answer each question with examples and then verify they understand. At the end of the session I will ask if they have any other questions, this is to see whether or not we need to touch base on a certain aspect to make them understand it more thoroughly.
