About Amalia

Hello,
My name is Amalia. I am an experienced English teacher. I arrived in Lille a short time ago, and I would like to offer you my private English lessons.
I speak 5 languages and I have lived abroad for several years. I am empathetic, supportive, and I know how to adapt to the different needs of learners. I am able to adapt to the different personalities and expectations of everyone, as well as to the age of my students.

During my career, I had the chance to travel around the world and working with people of different nationalities, different age groups, which allowed me to learn new methods of teaching the English language and to hone my skills as a teacher. I also learned to help students learn and understand the language using only the English language. I also helped students prepare for state exams / their partials, then worked with adults who wanted to improve their English writing and speaking skills for professional purposes. Most of my students have become confident enough to express themselves fluently in English and to understand the mechanics of this language.

About the lesson

Classes vary according to age. the level of English and the needs of the pupil.
Specific courses are offered for the improvement of pronunciation, English grammar, for study or work, writing and speaking skills. They can be received online (via Skype) and face-to-face.
The first course is an experimental course (which is free) allowing me to assess and see the student's level of English and to offer a specific course. The first lesson lasts only 25 minutes but the regular lessons last 1 hour. Classes are all in English, allowing students to learn to think English or understand the core of the language itself.
The courses offer books (students can also bring their own books), specific instructional videos, topics for discussion and debate, etc. I use modern metology to help students understand how to speak correct English and how to use the knowledge in their daily life.
