About Giorgia
Graduated from the M. Minghetti high school in Bologna, I embarked on the path of studying modern languages. My studies have allowed me to reach a native-like knowledge of the language and to also acquire skills in English linguistics, translation, academic writing and language teaching, fundamental for teaching.
Years of experience as a tutor, especially for second grade secondary school students, and a formative internship at an English school of a native teacher have provided me with the practical skills necessary to understand the needs of learners and to respond promptly and variety of methods that always keep attention high.
I have received my CELTA (Cambridge certificate for ESL teaching) from the prestigious International House London, UK.
In addition to studying English at an academic level, I had the opportunity to use it daily during numerous trips and a study experience abroad.

The lessons focus on the needs of the learner and aim to clarify doubts, stimulate interest and learn new rules, concepts and words. Whenever possible, lessons are held entirely in the target language. The methodologies are chosen based on the topic, the level and age of the learner: games and exercises are often used as a starting point. After the first lesson, the exercises are personalized: I create ad hoc handouts for my students to practice all aspects of the target language.
