About Jaelynne
I have spent a lot of time working one on one with students outside of regular class hours. I have also tutored outside of school as well at a grade 9 math level. I know that needing extra support can feel intimidating and I feel it’s important that students know my goal is to help them feel confident with their own abilities. I truly believe in all students and that learning needs to be taught in a variety of ways depending on each student.

I have been teacher for 25 years and although I am experienced my students and my own kids keep me young at heart! I have a firm understanding of grade 6-8 skills as I have mostly taught in these grades. I was also a teacher librarian for 7 years where I co-taught with teachers from grades K-8. I have a vast knowledge of adapting work, using innovative techniques and technology. I love to learn myself and understand the importance of making learning enjoyable while also helping to push students.
