About Kate

I’m a Chemistry teacher with almost 15 years experience of teaching GCSE and A-Level, across a range of exam boards and to students of hugely differing abilities. I am keen and passionate about helping people achieve their best result and am determined to build confidence in all my students.

I love watching Sport in my spare time, especially football and F1, and am a huge Disney fan.

About the lesson

Having a student engaged in learning is key, and taking ownership of your progress is the first step towards success. Once we have identified what you need to improve, I will provide plenty of steadily explanations and lots of deliberate practice through use of worked exam-style questions to ensure you have an understanding of both the Chemical theory and what an examiner is looking for when marking your responses. Learning Chemistry should be fun and exciting!
