About Traci

I have been a secondary teacher for 18 years now - and I still love sciences and particularly chemistry. The best part about teaching though, is seeing the penny drop for my students. To see them begin to understand chemistry on a deep level means I am doing what I believe I was meant to do! My aim is to help students fulfil their potential - whatever the level they are working at - and help them feel like they are making progress. This may just be in the form of confidence in the subject, or making sure all of the basics are understood. It may be that you are hoping to pass GCSE level sciences to get onto that next course, or it maybe that you are wanting to ensure you push that A level grade A into a grade A*. I know the exam boards inside out, and know what they look for year after year. I thrive on passing that on! I also have lots of reviews and testimonies on my own page and I am happy to pass those on. I offer a free initial session too so you can see if its right for you :)

About the lesson

Lessons can be 30 minutes to 120 minutes. I can tutor any level of chemistry, and also sciences upto GCSE. I have experience of every exam board too and mark for AQA and OCR each year so can help with higher level exam techniques.
I can adapt my style of teaching to the particular student (because everyone is different!) and will quickly assess if its a confidence lift you need, or a little help with the depth of understanding. I provide feedback at the end of each session and adapt for any future sessions based on progress.
I am always happy (because I love science!) and know I can pass this on effectively to all my students!
