About the lesson

I am an experienced teacher and private tutor of 18 years. I have experience of teaching Early Years to Year 9 in all subject areas. English is my specialist area and grammar in particular but, having been a senior leader in a primary school for 10 years, I have an outstanding knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the curriculum. I have experience of teaching all abilities, ESL pupils and those with a range of Special Educational Needs including autism (I also teach adults with Autism on a Functional Skills programme), ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia and ADD.
I have an excellent track record of preparing pupils for end of key stage tests in KS1 and 2, Y1 Phonics and 11+ Grammar School entry exams. I am also available to tutor PGCE students or those studying Education at an academic level. I also, at present, write for a paranormal website and proofread and edit academic papers as a Freelance Writer. I love teaching and my lessons are fun and interactive ensuring accelerated progress.
