I’m an experienced English and Music teacher, teaching for nearly 30 years, forming excellent relationships and helping students make excellent progress and to love the subjects I love. I achieve this through flexible, adaptable lessons that put the student first as an individual, and that will put the student at their ease.

Having played the flute and piccolo in many small groups, orchestras, school-based groups and as a soloist over about forty years, I’ll take the lessons at the pace you need to help you fall in love with the instrument, with music and with all the joy it’ll bring you, as well as supporting you with formal requirements for exam boards and concerts, if that’s what you’d like to do, too.
