About Ameera

I am a Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) graduate with a Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) with Honors, with strong English communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.

Throughout my university years, I have been actively involved in student leadership and organizations, including serving as President of Nadi Mahasiswa UMS and holding previous leadership positions within student representative and faculty organizations. These experiences have given me extensive opportunities to communicate with students from different backgrounds, facilitate discussions, present ideas, and explain information clearly and confidently.

As a tutor, I believe learning English should be practical, engaging, and encouraging. My goal is not only to help students understand grammar and improve their writing, but also to build their confidence in using English in real-life situations. I create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve without feeling embarrassed.

I provide personalized lessons based on each student's current level, learning needs, and goals. Lessons may cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, pronunciation, speaking, and conversational English. I also use practical examples, discussions, and interactive exercises to help students apply what they learn.

My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, as well as students who simply want to strengthen their English communication skills. Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, with the structure adjusted according to the student's needs and progress.

I am committed to being patient, responsible, and well-prepared for every lesson. I want my students to leave each class not only knowing more English, but also feeling more confident about using it.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching English is practical, interactive and student-centred. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and expressing themselves without being afraid of being judged.

I tailor my lessons according to each student's level, learning style and goals. Depending on their needs, I can focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, pronunciation, speaking and everyday communication. I also like to use real-life examples, conversations, short exercises and interactive activities to make lessons more engaging rather than relying entirely on memorisation.

A typical lesson is around 60 minutes. I usually begin by reviewing the student's previous learning, introduce the main topic, practise it together through guided exercises, and finish with activities that allow the student to apply what they have learned independently.

I am a Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) graduate from Universiti Malaysia Sabah and have extensive experience in public speaking, presentations, student leadership and communicating with students from different backgrounds. Through my university leadership and organisational experience, I have frequently facilitated discussions, explained information and engaged with large groups of students.

My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, as well as students who would like to improve their conversational English, confidence in speaking, grammar and general communication skills. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can gradually become more confident and independent English users.
