I'm a consultant by profession and a passionate investor by choice. My journey into the world of investing started during the COVID-19 market crash — a time of fear, uncertainty, and (in hindsight) massive opportunity. Like many others, I kept seeing ads and articles talking about the "V-shaped recovery" and how the market would bounce back quickly. Honestly, I was sceptical. I didn’t want to lose money. But curiosity — and a little courage — got the better of me. I decided to take a small step and bought my very first stock: $100 of Google shares at $73. Fast forward a year, and that investment had nearly doubled. It wasn’t just the return that excited me — it was the realisation that with the right knowledge, investing is one of the most powerful tools for building wealth. My only regret? Not investing more. Since then, I've spent years studying everything from value investing to options strategies and income generation. Now, I combine my consulting background with my passion for finance to help others learn how to invest wisely, strategically, and confidently — just like I wish someone had taught me back then.
