About Jace

Teaching Spanish has been a rewarding journey for me over the last 15+ years. I have worked with around 150 High School and College students, helping them improve their language skills through structured and engaging lessons. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning enjoyable while building a strong foundation in every aspect of the language.

I believe students learn best when they understand the purpose of what they are studying. That is why I connect grammar and vocabulary with real-life conversations and practical situations. My lessons include speaking practice, listening exercises, reading passages, writing tasks, and pronunciation training. Every lesson is adjusted to suit the student's pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident.

Helping students achieve better academic results and stronger communication skills has been one of my greatest accomplishments. Many of my students have overcome their fear of speaking Spanish and have become more confident learners. I provide regular feedback, encouragement, and guidance so students continue making steady progress.

As a tutor, I value respect, patience, honesty, and continuous learning. My mission is to inspire students to enjoy Spanish while developing skills that will benefit them throughout their education and beyond.

About the lesson

I approach teaching Spanish with a methodology that is student-focused, interactive, and adaptable. Accountability ensures learners take responsibility for their learning, set goals, and track progress consistently. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and customized to each student’s strengths and challenges.

I embrace Flexibility, adjusting lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals. Communication is central; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students internalize grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and fosters confidence. I also integrate complementary subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and practical application. My goal is to help students develop fluency, confidence, and a lasting passion for Spanish.
