About Rebecca

Hi! I’m Angelica, a language teacher based in Barcelona. I’m passionate about languages, communication and discovering different cultures, and I love helping people feel more confident when speaking a new language.

I teach Spanish and Italian to students from all over the world and have more than 11 years of experience teaching foreign languages. I hold a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), as well as a Master’s in Teacher Training for Spanish Language and Literature and a DELE C2 certificate.

I’m a friendly, patient and enthusiastic teacher, and I always try to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their personality, interests and goals.

Whether you’re learning Spanish for work, travel, everyday life or simply because you love languages, I’d be happy to help you enjoy the process and make real progress.

I look forward to meeting you!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is communicative, practical and fully personalised to each student. I believe that learning a language should be an active and enjoyable experience, so I encourage students to speak from the very beginning and use Spanish in realistic, everyday situations.

Before starting, I take the time to understand each student's level, goals, interests and learning needs. I then adapt my lessons accordingly, combining conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening activities. I use a variety of textbooks and teaching materials, as well as my own activities and resources, depending on what works best for each student.

My lessons are usually 60 minutes long, although I can adapt the length depending on the student's needs.

I have over 11 years of experience teaching Spanish and Italian to foreign students, both online and in person, mainly working with adults from different nationalities and backgrounds. I hold a Master's degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), a Master's in Teacher Training for Spanish Language and Literature, and a DELE C2 certificate.

My lessons are suitable for adult learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for an exam, move to a Spanish-speaking country, or simply feel more confident using Spanish in everyday life, I will adapt the lessons to your specific goals.

I’ve really enjoyed my lessons with Rebecca. She is very patient and easy to talk to, and she always explains things in a clear and simple way. I especially like that the lessons are not just about grammar — we have a lot of conversation and talk about everyday topics.

She also adapts the classes to what I need and is always well prepared. I feel much more confident speaking Spanish since I started taking lessons with her. I would definitely recommend her!
