About Bethany
I am a dedicated and supportive tutor with 8 months of 1-to-1 SEN classroom experience. I hold safeguarding qualifications and an enhanced DBS check, and I am currently studying Criminology at university with the goal of qualifying as a teacher. I create a patient, safe and encouraging learning environment for students.

My tutoring sessions are supportive, patient and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and confidence level. I focus on English skills including reading, comprehension, classics, literacy and homework support. With experience working 1-1 with SEN students in schools, I create a calm and encouraging environment where students can build confidence, improve understanding and enjoy learning at their own pace.
