About Amna

I am an experienced tutor with excellent Maths Subject knowledge . I have good experience of working with both secondary and primary school students . I have been working in a state secondary school since past 7 years . Previously I have also worked in primary school for two years . I have excellent skills of working with students on one to one basis and in small groups. I have been tutoring since past 9 years and have taught students of different age groups . About the lesson

I believe in building good rapport with my students when it comes to educating them . I have been working in education sector for many years so I have excellent idea of how to work with students of various abilities . I am currently using Webex Cisco platform to teach Maths online and provide access to interactive websites while tutoring my sessions . I always ensure that my students are not getting bored of what I am teaching them ; so I always try to introduce topic related quizzes at the start of the lesson and an interactive game or a mini test to find out their understanding at the end of the lesson or some times in the middle of the lesson.
Students are provided with 10 minutes task to complete on a daily basis until they return back for next session . This helps them to stay in touch with what has been taught in previous lessons and keeps them on track . At the end of each unit or topic I generally assess students to see how well they remember every taught topic.
Parents are kept well informed on what topics have been covered according to National Curriculum and how well there child is getting on with the topics. I also help parents to get connected with their child's education by supporting them with good advice .
