About Rocky
First off, and I think importantly, is the fact that I love to write. It’s definitely my passion and with over ten years experience in both the film industry and as a corporate copywriter and script writer, writing is how I spend the majority of my time.
After completing a Master's degree in Screenwriting from VCA, I’ve been working with an award-winning writer/director on a feature film while developing a slate of projects for a Melbourne-based production company. I am also currently teaching the 'Introduction to Screenwriting' short course at CAE.

My goal is to always make lessons fun and simple. Being creative is about taking your ideas and turning them into something you can be proud of and so my job is to help find the best way for each individual to achieve this.
I really try to bring my experiences from both my creative and corporate worlds to teach how you can take a small idea and turn it into a short story, book, outline or screenplay - all through some really basic understanding of how to structure a story in order for it to be successful.
