About Varsha

Since I was young, I have always excelled in English. It never felt like a school subject for me, and it felt more like a way to express myself. I hope to make the English subject, a way that you can express yourself. I am a fresh graduate with a Bachelors in Law degree from the University of London. In attaining this degree, I have written countless essays and read books that have sharpened my command of the English language and I hope to share my skills with you!

About the lesson

Hi there! I believe that learning English should be fun but effective and some of the best ways to learn English would be through conversation and writing. Writing skills are very important for exams, therefore I will be teaching some easy tips and ways to word your essays, to expand your ideas in writing so that you can achieve your A+. To enhance grammar, we will do certain activities such as having conversations about topics that you like, analysing song lyrics and poetry that you may love and other fun activities as an easy way to elevate your grammar. The typical length of a lesson would be up to you, although 1 hour to about 2 hours will be an ideal amount of time every week to get some practice and knowledge. My qualifications include being a straight As student for SPM (I received A+ for English and A for English Literature), and I have a Bachelors in Law degree from the University of London. Lessons will be catered towards high school students from Form 1 to Form 5. I will review the materials provided by your high school (Sekolah Menengah or any other international school) and plan the lessons accordingly. I hope to instill a love of English in you and at the same time, help you excel in your exams. Lessons will also be catered for working adults and their job requirements.
