About Vigneshwaran

Always Up for a Challenge

I started my career with a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering, but I quickly discovered my passion for building teams. That's where my 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition come in.

From day one, I've thrived on taking on responsibility. During a pilot project, I was entrusted with creating the entire process and working models – and the client loved it! In fact, they were so happy that they extended the contract. That's when I got my first taste of building a team by hiring and training my colleagues.

Building Teams

Later, at MathWorks, I played a key role in college placements. My strategic approach landed us the day-one slot for IITs and NITs, allowing us to capture the top talent even before major tech companies. This success came from collaboration – I worked across teams in India and the US to ensure we had the manpower to cover everything smoothly.

I'm not afraid to step outside my comfort zone. In a previous customer support role, I quickly earned recognition for my problem-solving skills. My unique approach helped me achieve a significant number of positive accolades from both customers and the internal team.

From Startup to Global Reach

When I joined a bootstrapped startup, it was just me and the founders. They trusted me to find the talent we needed to build the business, and I wore many hats – from recruitment to HR duties. We grew the team from 4 to 11 in just 10 months, and ultimately achieved a successful exit through a company sale.

My experience extends beyond borders. I've also had the opportunity to work with Australian demographics, helping my sales team secure new clients by making strategic hires. Here, I played a crucial role in adding two new clients to their portfolio.

Leadership and Teamwork

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of leading and training teams. I've mentored 7 recent graduates, sharing best practices and teaching them how to identify the perfect candidates. I also have experience in account management, where I collaborated closely with clients while managing the entire recruitment process.

Always Learning, Always Growing

I've had the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries – product, service, and manufacturing – in India, the US, Canada, Japan, and Australia. I'm a team player, an optimist, and someone who's always open to learning new methods. I believe in working towards long-term goals and strategically building teams that contribute to the bigger picture.
