I am a Primary School Teacher local to Barrow-in-Furness. I'm lucky to have had experience working with a range of ages and backgrounds, primarily in literacy and languages. I've worked with children as young as 5 all the way through to adults all of whom had varying degrees of subject knowledge. My teaching comes from a place of loving learning myself - I always aim to make the learning process enjoyable and memorable. My teaching will always be adapted to an individual's specific needs and preferences.
I currently work in KS2 (Year 3) but have knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE curriculum in French and Spanish. Working in primary means that I enjoy teaching a varied curriculum to a wide range of children with varying needs.
A typical lesson with me would start with a recap, before practising new content together, followed by chance for independent practice and consolidation of the lesson.
