Through collaborative exercises, real-time writing, and analysis of model texts, we'll craft a lesson that's as unique as your writing journey. Below is an example of a single 40-minute lesson plan if the goal is to improve the organization of your written communication:
Review (5 minutes): We'll start by reviewing your progress on the goal map created in the first lesson, focusing on the development of your writing organization skills.
Interactive Mini-Lecture (5 minutes): I'll introduce the foundational concepts of writing organization, including the crafting of thesis statements, topic sentences, and the strategic use of transitions.
Model Analysis (10 minutes): We'll examine a well-structured text that is interesting to you, identifying key organizational components and discussing how they contribute to the clarity of the writing.
