About Omolola

I am an experienced Physics and STEM tutor with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University.

Over the years, I have taught Physics to students at different levels and across Nigerian, British, Cambridge, and American curricula. My experience includes helping students strengthen their foundations, prepare for WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, A Level, and other examinations, as well as supporting students with university foundation-level STEM courses.

What I enjoy most about teaching Physics is helping students see the logic behind a subject that can initially seem abstract or difficult. I enjoy taking concepts that appear complicated and breaking them down into ideas that students can visualize, relate to, and reason through.

I am patient, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping students understand rather than simply memorize formulas. I believe that a student who understands the principles behind Physics is better equipped to approach unfamiliar problems and continue learning independently.

I take the time to understand each student's starting point and adapt my teaching to their needs and pace. Whether you are struggling with the fundamentals, preparing for an examination, or looking to develop stronger problem-solving skills, I am committed to providing patient, personalized, and reliable support.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Physics is centered on understanding the ideas behind the equations, not simply memorizing formulas and procedures. I want students to understand what is physically happening, why it happens, and how the mathematics describes it.

I break complex Physics concepts into simple, connected ideas and use everyday examples, analogies, visual explanations, and guided questions to make abstract principles easier to understand. When working with equations and calculations, I focus first on helping students understand the physical meaning of the quantities involved and how they relate to one another. This makes it easier for students to approach unfamiliar problems with confidence.

My lessons are interactive and adapted to each student's level, pace, strengths, and areas of difficulty. I guide students through problems rather than simply giving them solutions, using questions and worked examples to develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills.

A typical lesson is 60 minutes and may include concept explanation, visualization, worked examples, guided problem-solving, and a review of the student's understanding.

My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, examination candidates, and university foundation-level students who want to strengthen their understanding of Physics, improve their problem-solving skills, or become more confident in the subject.
