About Kellie

January of 1998 began my college journey that invited me to assist fellow student who struggled with learning impairments or difficulties particularly in mathematics, writing skills and overall study skills. I became apart of a program called STARS (students targeting and reaching success) which allowed me to help struggling students reach their education goals using private and group tutoring sessions.

I became an employed educator and have experience teaching in traditional and virtual settings as well individual and group learning environments. I have been affiliated with public, private and online institutions. I have taught as an emergency substitute in all grade levels. However, my full time contracts employed me as an 8th grade home room teacher that taught a couple years physical, life and earth sciences. Other years of full time teaching include teaching lessons in English, arithmetic, science and technology. Class room sizes have varied from small classes of 15 to larger of 35 or more.

Students succeeded with exemplary Science Fair projects, honors society initiations, and recognition for outstanding progress achieved through completing my instructional courses and tutoring sessions that enhanced study skills and life long education learning skills to help with time management, preparation and reaching academic success.

About the lesson

Greetings learners!

I enjoy providing lessons to enhance learning and obtain ultimate academic success. Structured lessons include effective communication that involves verbal and written correspondence containing clear outlined objectives, goals, expectations and overall self reflection that tests individual understanding. Virtual lessons involving effective communication and structured lessons ensure knowledge is obtained, stored and maintained to meet student needs.

As a teacher, I have been described as animated, fun, and energetic among fellow colleagues, students, and parents who have observed my instruction and witnessed education progress resulting from my positive learning environment and structured learning techniques.

I look forward to working together as a team to engage learning and have fun!
