About Steven
I have taught in large secondary schools for 15 years and love both my subject and working with the amazing young people that I am privileged to work with on a daily basis. My love of English Literature and English Language shines through, and I believe absolutely in a comprehensive ethos where every child deserves the best teaching and the best outcomes.
Many of the students and parents that I have worked with during my career have commented that my passion for English has enabled them to become engaged in the subject when this may not have been the case before; this in turn has led to their success at GCSE level and in many cases to pupils continuing their studies at a more advanced level.
My experience and engagement with both English and English Literature means that I am equally comfortable supporting students across the whole range of academic ability. I would be delighted to assist you and your child in achieving their very best potential.
