About Najma
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with experience supporting students from elementary to high school levels in a variety of subjects, with a strong focus on mathematics. I am passionate about helping students feel confident, capable, and motivated in their learning journey. My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized to meet each student's unique needs and goals.
I believe that a positive learning environment is essential for success, and I strive to make every lesson a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their skills. With my teaching experience and dedication to student success, I am committed to helping learners strengthen their understanding, improve their academic performance, and develop lifelong problem-solving skills.

My lessons are student-centred, engaging, and tailored to each learner's individual needs, learning style, and goals. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right support, encouragement, and clear explanations. I focus on building confidence by breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and using real-world examples whenever possible.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by introducing a new concept through guided instruction and worked examples. Students then practice independently while I provide feedback, answer questions, and address any areas of difficulty. I also help with homework, assignments, test preparation, and developing effective problem-solving strategies.
As an Ontario Certified Teacher, I create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop a genuine understanding of mathematics and become independent learners.
My lessons are available online for elementary and high school students of all ability levels, whether they need extra support, want to strengthen foundational skills, or are aiming for top academic performance.
