About Harry

I am Harry, I am currently finishing my Civil Engineering degree in Liverpool. I worked in retail for 5 years however then I discovered that I can use my fresh knowledge to help others. So for the past 18 months I have been working as an independent online Maths tutor. The feedback I have received already is incredible and I have fantastic reviews from parents. Tutoring is something that has always come naturally to me because I was never “top of the class”. But I knew that I needed to have maths as a skill so I self-taught the curriculum and what I noticed was that not everyone will understand the one method that you are taught in school. Therefore I’d say I’m unique as I can relate to my students' frustration when they don’t understand a topic I can see it from their point of view because I used to be that child and because I have this outlook I have managed to bump students up by three grades in just under 3 months. I have also helped with exam prep and confidence in answering questions. There’s multiple reasons why someone might want a tutor and I cater for everyone

About the lesson

I have been an online maths tutor working with schools, parents and students now for over a year. I can tutor any age up to A-level. I’d say I stand out from the rest as I have the teaching experience but also the fresh knowledge straight from University. I was never the brightest in my class but this is what makes my tutoring sessions so special, I understand when a student doesn’t get it so I make it my mission to find a method that suits them and that will stick with them. Whether it is preparing for an exam, building confidence, or trying to achieve that higher grade, my sessions are personally structured so together we can achieve the best. I’m highly flexible so I can fit in with any type of hectic schedule.
