About Mohamad Ridhuan
Hello! I'm Mohamad Ridhuan Bin Nasarudin, a dedicated English educator with over five years of experience teaching as a part-time and contract lecturer in both secondary schools and higher education institutions. I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds at UiTM, Sunway College, and INSTEDT, and currently tutor learners online in Cambridge English (FCE, CAE, CPE), Business English, and academic communication. I hold a degree in TESL and am currently pursuing a Master's in Applied Language Studies. My lessons are engaging, personalized, and focused on building students’ confidence and real-world English skills in a supportive environment.

1. I begin each tutoring journey with a CEFR-aligned placement test to assess the student’s current level.
2. Based on the results, I place students accordingly and create a learning plan tailored to their level and goals.
3. I teach English that is purpose-focused—whether for:
a. Exam preparation (Cambridge, MUET, etc.)
b. General proficiency (everyday communication, fluency)
c. Workplace communication (emails, presentations, meetings)
4. Lessons focus on all key skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
5. I use task-based learning, communicative activities, and exam-style practice, supported by digital tools like Google Docs, Kahoot, and Zoom whiteboards.
6. My lessons are interactive, practical, and adapted to suit each learner’s needs.
7. I provide detailed, ongoing feedback to help students improve vocabulary, grammar, and overall confidence.
8. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for exam or intensive focus.
9. My Qualifications & Experience:
I have a Bachelor’s degree in TESL and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Language Studies. I’ve taught at UiTM, Sunway College, INSTEDT, and more, and I have experience teaching Cambridge English (FCE, CAE, CPE), Business English, and English for Communication. I also received the MELTA Excellence in Research Award in 2022.
10. Who My Lessons Are For:
I teach secondary school students and young adults (ages 13–25), from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2) level. My lessons are ideal for students preparing for exams, improving academic writing, or developing workplace communication skills.
