About Jillian
I have been an elementary school teacher for 12 years and have been rated highly effective each year. I have taught students of all different learning styles and abilities. I know I have made a difference and impact in my students' lives because I still have relationships with many students who have left and moved onto high school and college. Some of my students in high school now, still come back to visit monthly and invite me to their graduations. They have memories of being in my classroom and remember the songs or “tricks” I taught them.

Many students want to be in my class because they say I make things easy to understand and I always give them a trick to help them remember how to solve a problem. Students in my room stay engaged and have fun learning and can apply my lessons to their everyday life outside of the classroom. They call me the “sigma” teacher in the building.
