About Max
I am an experienced music teacher. I've been teaching both in a school, as well as privately, for about seven years. I've received a Bachelors degree in Urban studies, but my true passion is teaching music. I enjoy teaching both in a school setting as well as privately. I've taught Piano, Guitar, Saxophone, Bass Guitar, Vocals, Violin, Upright Bass, Clarinet and Oboe.

I've given lessons to people of all different age groups and levels of expertise. I analyze a students ability and then discuss the benefits of theory and practice. Over time I teach the importance of pitch, rhythm, tempo, articulation, dynamics and reading. I teach at different paces for different students. I'm very adaptable and I've learned a lot about teaching through my experience. I aspire to one day teach music in a elementary, middle or high school setting.
