About Kaitlyn

I am an experienced educator in math. I have been a full-time substitute teacher in Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 for 6 years. My students are primarily eighth-grade students that have comprehension gaps in math. I have worked with students that have a lower level of proficiency with math, and moved those students to a proficiency level. Each of my Algebra 1 classes has taken and passed the End Of Course exam, my pass rate is currently 70%. I have a strong passion for math because it is an exact subject and can be easily understood with consistent practice and diligence.

About the lesson

Math can be intimidating, but with consistency and patience, it will make sense. You can do it! With my clear and understandable teaching style, you will succeed. My lessons are clearly written to follow a pace that is focused on repetitive practice to ensure understanding.
