With years of teaching experience across different levels, I have developed a proven and engaging approach to help students master math and science. As a Teaching Assistant at York University, I have guided university students through challenging concepts, and as a volunteer educator, I have worked with underprivileged students, ensuring they receive high-quality education despite limited resources. With years of experience teaching students at different levels, I have developed an approach that makes math and science engaging, practical, and easy to understand. As a Teaching Assistant at York University, I help university students navigate complex topics, but my experience goes beyond that. I have also worked with underprivileged kids through an NGO, volunteering to teach math and science to students with little to no resources. This has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods to different learning needs.
I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, relatable ideas. Using real-world examples, problem-solving exercises, and interactive discussions, I ensure that students understand not just the “how” but the “why” behind each topic. Whether it's university students, high schoolers, or kids with no prior exposure to structured learning, my approach has consistently proven effective.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Introduction (15 min): Quick recap and an overview of today’s topic with practical applications.
Concept Breakdown (25 min): Step-by-step explanations using visuals, examples, and problem-solving strategies.
Practice Session (20 min): Guided exercises, followed by independent problem-solving with my support.
Wrap-Up (10 min): Reviewing key takeaways and assigning optional practice problems.
This structure helps students retain concepts, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.
