About Isla

With 3 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping high school and college students master Math. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching around 150 students, guiding them through difficult concepts and helping them build confidence. My approach is patient and supportive, ensuring each student’s learning style is respected. A significant milestone in my career was seeing many of my students achieve impressive results in exams. I find joy in making Math more understandable and accessible, and I’m dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is built on clear communication, patience, and adapting to each student's learning style. I believe that understanding the core concepts in Math is crucial, so I focus on breaking down complex problems into simple, manageable steps. By using clear explanations and real-life examples, I help students connect theoretical knowledge to practical applications. I take the time to ensure that each student feels comfortable asking questions, fostering a supportive environment for learning. I adapt my teaching techniques to suit the individual needs of each student, whether they prefer visual aids, hands-on activities, or step-by-step guidance. With patience, I encourage students to take their time, build their confidence, and gradually improve their problem-solving skills. In addition to Math, I can also teach related subjects like calculus and pre-calculus, offering comprehensive support in exam preparation and assignments. My goal is to make learning Math both enjoyable and rewarding for every student.
