About Husbana

I have been teaching mathematics for more than 10 years and have worked with students from primary school all the way to university level. Over the years, I have realized that most students do not actually struggle with math itself, they struggle because nobody explains the concepts to them in a way that truly makes sense.

I believe math is one of the most beautiful subjects because it helps us understand the logic behind how things work. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students pass exams, but to help them genuinely understand what they are studying and feel confident while doing it.

Because of my background in psychology as well, I understand that every student learns differently. Some students need more practice, some need more confidence, and some simply need concepts to be explained in a calmer and more relatable way. I try to adapt my teaching according to the student rather than forcing every student into one method

About the lesson

I believe mathematics is one of the most beautiful subjects because it is the language of the universe. What makes maths difficult for many students is not the subject itself, but the lack of conceptual understanding and clarity behind what they are studying. Once students understand the logic and rationale behind a concept, maths becomes much easier and far more interesting.

My teaching approach focuses on making concepts simple and relatable through real-world examples instead of rote memorization. I also strongly focus on confidence building, because many students struggle with maths not due to lack of ability, but because they begin doubting themselves. I help students feel comfortable with the subject and guide them step by step until they gain clarity and confidence in their problem-solving skills.

A typical lesson usually starts by identifying the student’s current understanding and areas of difficulty. I then explain the concept in a simple and practical way, solve examples together with the student, and gradually move towards independent problem solving and exam-style questions. I adapt my teaching style according to the pace, confidence level, and learning style of each student.

With more than 10 years of teaching experience, I have taught students from primary school to university level. I have also worked with students from different countries, including Australia and Europe, which has helped me understand different learning styles and adapt my approach accordingly. My lessons are suitable for students who want stronger concepts, better grades, improved confidence, or support with assignments and exam preparation
