About Katy
I am a qualified and experienced Secondary and Sixth Form teacher with over 20 years experience in schools, now a full-time tutor. I teach Maths and Further Maths including Further Maths and Statistics GCSE. I have a PGCE and a BSc in Maths both from University of Bristol. My students gain confidence quickly and through this also begin to enjoy maths and become successful. Students like and respond to my calm approach and patience.

My lessons are traditional with traditional techniques taught. I believe that practice is the key to success, so plenty of examples and questions are given. I love maths and this comes through to my students who in turn lose their reticence and start to enjoy the subject.
