About Fahid
I studied Maths and Physics before moving into statistical research, and now I work as a data engineer. Numbers and problem-solving have always been where I'm happiest, and tutoring lets me pass that on rather than just applying it myself. Outside of work I play football and collect perfumes, which probably says more about my patience for detail than anything else. Helping people has been part of who I am since school. Some of my favourite people are the ones who took the time to help me, and I want to be that person for someone else. I remember what it felt like when a subject finally clicked, and there's nothing better than watching that happen for a student.

I'm a Maths and Physics tutor with an approachable, personalised and hardworking style. Every student I've taught has come away with A*/9 grades at GCSE. I build a plan around each student and prep properly for every lesson, no winging it. What I care about most is teaching them how to think and how to learn, not just how to pass a test. The goal is students who leave more capable, not just more coached.
