As a mathematics tutor, I adopt a student-centered approach that emphasizes understanding and application of mathematical concepts through engaging and interactive methods. A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (10 minutes): Quick review of previous concepts with a few practice problems to activate prior knowledge.
Introduction to New Topic (15 minutes): Clear explanation of the new topic, using real-world examples and visual aids to illustrate key points.
Guided Practice (20 minutes): Step-by-step walkthrough of sample problems, involving students in the process and addressing any questions.
Independent Practice (25 minutes): Students work on assigned problems individually or in small groups, with my support as needed. This segment helps reinforce their understanding and identify any difficulties.
