About ILIYAN
I am a Bachelor of Science student at the University of Manitoba with a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and structured. I break down difficult concepts into simple steps and ensure students truly understand the “why” behind each solution. I adapt my lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, making sessions both effective and engaging.
I am committed to helping students improve their grades while also developing long-term skills and confidence in math.

A session usually starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by introducing new concepts in a structured way. I then guide the student through worked examples and gradually move to independent practice. Each lesson ends with a summary and targeted homework to strengthen weak areas.
I teach middle school to high school students (Grades 6–12), covering core math topics including algebra, geometry, and foundational problem-solving skills, with support tailored to school curriculum and exam preparation.
