I have tutored professionally before and was one of our most productive tutors at my previous company. I have worked with elementary schoolers up to advanced high schoolers so I have lots of practical range to help your understanding.
I try to learn about you and your hobbies so I can show you math that's in your life already. Many people don't realize it but those comparisons have helped many of my clients to have better understanding.

If you've ever been frustrated about a tutor just assuming you understand everything they are saying, I'd love to give it my own shot! I've seen tutors who were advanced students try to teach like it comes easy to everyone, so I try to check in often, answer questions all along the way, and try to compare it to real world stuff to make it easier to understand. Hopefully I can make math a bit easier and even a little fun!
