About Benjamin
I am patient and understanding, and I know what it feels like to struggle with math. Because of those experiences, I am devoted to helping students gain confidence and a deeper understanding of mathematics. I work to meet students where they are, explain concepts in ways that make sense to them, and help them develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them both in and outside of the classroom.

My teaching method is motivated by understanding math not just doing it. I start by identifying what a student already understands and building from there. I use clear examples and explanations, guided practice and questions that encourage students to think through problems for themselves. My goal is to make math feel more approachable, by helping students grow in confidence and problem solving skills. I tutor high school and college students.
