About Setayesh
My name is Setayesh Sanavi, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Guelph, expected to graduate in August 2024. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, where I graduated with a CGPA of 17.61/20. My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in computer engineering principles, including advanced programming and system integration. Professionally, I have extensive teaching experience, including serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph. In this role, I led engaging laboratory sessions for over 50 students, improving their understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming. I demonstrated exceptional time management skills by efficiently grading papers for nearly 40 students within a single day, consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines. In addition to my university teaching experience, I have also taught children from 2nd to 6th grade. This role allowed me to develop the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner, inspiring confidence and establishing my legitimacy as an educator. My technical capabilities extend to system integration, software development, web and mobile development, and data science and machine learning with tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Additionally, I am well-versed in Agile methodologies, project management, and effective communication, which collectively enhance my ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality results. Furthermore, I hold certifications as a Data Analyst from DataCamp and have completed specialized courses in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, as well as Hyperparameter Tuning, offered by DeepLearning.AI on Coursera. My commitment to continuous learning and professional development drives me to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
