About Shelby P
Hello, I'm Shelby. With a background in teaching high school chemistry and physics, as well as tutoring in math at Purdue University, I bring a strong foundation in mathematics to my tutoring sessions. Throughout my experience as a TA at the University of Illinois and Carnegie Mellon University, I have consistently integrated math concepts into my teaching to enhance students' understanding. I believe that a solid grasp of mathematics is essential for success in chemistry and other STEM fields.
