About Matilda
Hello! My name is Udoka Matilda Emem, an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in primary and elementary education. I currently teach in an international school environment, where I specialize in helping young learners develop strong foundations in mathematics, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

My tutoring approach is student-centered, engaging, and structured to help learners clearly understand mathematical concepts and build confidence. I use step-by-step explanations, guided practice, visual examples, and interactive problem-solving activities to make math easier and enjoyable for students. I also incorporate questioning techniques and short assessments to check understanding and track progress.
A typical lesson lasts **45–60 minutes**, depending on the learner’s needs. Each session usually includes a short review, introduction of a new concept, guided practice, and independent exercises to strengthen understanding.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience in primary and elementary education and currently teach in an international school environment. I also have experience preparing students for **11+ examinations** with strong results.
